Buhari Exposed What Jonathan did To Him In 2015 (Must See)

President, Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday told
State House correspondents in Abuja that he was
shocked when the former President, Goodluck
Jonathan, called him before the 2015 Presidential
election was concluded to concede defeat.
At a launch with the reporters, president Buhari
said
“When he made that famous call at 4:45 pm and
said ‘Good evening Mr. President, I have called
to congratulate you and I concede defeat’, I was
silent for quite a while because I was surprised
and he said ‘did you hear me?’,“For someone
who was a Deputy Governor, a Governor, a Vice
President and a President for six years to
concede that easily showed his great sense of
patriotism”.For him to still go ahead and
concede was definitely not an easy
decision.””President Buhari said.

Fayose Dares Buhari, says, ‘I can’t be cowed’ and You Can’t Stop Me From…..

Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has dared the
Federal Government to carry out the alleged plot of
preventing him from travelling out of the country,
saying; “under the federal system of government,
state governors are not appendages of the
President and as a leading opposition figure in
Nigeria, he cannot be cowed by President
Mohammadu Buhari and his agents.”
The governor, who reacted to reports that two
governors, one from the Southwest and another
from the South South have been placed on travel
restriction on President Buhari’s order, in a press
conference addressed by his Special Assistant on
Public Communications and New Media, Lere
Olayinka, said; whenever he wished to travel out
Nigeria, he will do so in the full glare of the public.
He said; “I am not surprised or disappointed by this
latest plot of the Buhari’s government because the
President Buhari that we know is a man without
any atom of respect for the rights of Nigerians as
enshrined in the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria, the
Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the
African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights and
this he demonstrated as a military dictator and now
demonstrating as a democratically elected
president.”
The governor said he was however amazed that
“this dangerous dimension of compelling a sitting
governor that enjoys Constitutional Immunity like
the President to obtain clearance from the Director
General of the Department of State Service (DSS)
before travelling out of Nigeria can ever be
contemplated.”
He said President Buhari and his agents should be
mindful of the fact that under a federal system of
government, the states and national government
both enjoy some autonomy, with sovereign power
formally divided between the national government
and the States such that each State retains some
degree of control over its internal affairs.
Olayinka, who was flanked by the Chief Press
Secretary to the Governor, Mr Idowu Adelusi, said;
“Few days ago, when Governor Ayodele Fayose was
reliably informed that President Mohammadu
Buhari had directed that he should be banned from
traveling outside Nigeria, he simply took the
information as mere rumour, concluding that
disrespect for the constitution of Nigeria and
Buhari’s dictatorship would not be extended to the
most ridiculous level of preventing a governor
elected just as the president from traveling out of
the country.
“The thinking of Governor Fayose was that even
though the Buhari’s presidency was capable of even
attempting to prevent those opposed to the
President from breathing the air, it must still be
sane enough to be conscious of the consequences
of placing any Nigerian under travel ban without an
order of the court, not to talk of a sitting governor
that enjoys constitutional immunity like the
President.
“However, when we read the story titled; “2 govs
under watch, face travel ban” published on Sunday
by two major national dailies, we have no option
than to once again alert the public on President
Buhari’s new dictatorial plot to infringe on the
constitutional rights of Governor Fayose just
because of his critical position on the President’s
dictatorial tendencies.
“The question is; if Governor Fayose has become a
threat to the security of Nigeria just because he
criticises President Buhari and says the truth about
his mis-governance of the country, is this not a
confirmation that the President hates dissenting
views?
“Section 35 (1) of the 1999 Constitution (as
amended) provides that; “Every person shall be
entitled to his personal liberty and no person shall
be deprived of such liberty,” while Section 41 (1)
provides that “Every citizen of Nigeria is entitled to
move freely throughout Nigeria and to reside in
any part thereof, and no citizen of Nigeria shall be
expelled from Nigeria or refused entry thereto or
exit therefrom.”
“Article 13 (1) of the Universal Declaration of
Human Rights to which Nigeria is a signatory
provides that ‘Everyone has the right to freedom of
movement and residence within the border of each
State’ while Article 13 (2) provides that ‘Everyone
has the right to leave any country, including his
own, and return to his country,’ ditto Article 12 (2)
of the African Charter on Human and Peoples’
Rights.
“President Buhari and his agents should also be
mindful of the fact that under a federal system of
government, the states and national government
both enjoy some autonomy, with sovereign power
formally divided between the national government
and the States such that each State retains some
degree of control over its internal affairs.
“Therefore, the President of Nigeria cannot lord
himself over any State governor and President
Buhari and his agents should accept this basic
reality and stop behaving as if they own Nigeria in
totality.
“President Buhari and his agents, especially his
kinsman; Alhaji Lawal Daura of the DSS need to
purge themselves of this blood of dictatorship
running in their veins and be guided by the
Constitution of Nigeria.
“Even ordinary Nigerians do not require clearance
from the DSS or any security agency to travel
outside Nigeria unless travel restriction is placed
by an order of the court, not to talk of State
Governors that enjoy immunity just like the
President and are not under the control of the
President.
“The president and his agents should know that this
is not 1984 when General Buhari, as a military
dictator prevented late Chief Obafemi Awolowo
from travelling outside Nigeria for medical
treatment, thereby leading to his (Awolowo)
untimely death in 1987!
“They should also be reminded that the same way
Buhari humiliated the late Ooni of Ife, Oba
Okunade Sijuwade; late Emir of Kano Alhaji Ado
Bayero and late Obi of Onitsha, Ofala Akulalia
Alphonsus Ogugua in 1984 by seizing their
passports and restricting them to their palaces just
because they travelled to Israel for business, he
cannot restrict State governors from travelling
outside Nigeria under whatever guise.
“I therefore wish to state on behalf of Governor
Ayodele Fayose that as an opposition figure, he
cannot be cowed by this pettiness from the
presidency. Governor Fayose, by this press
conference is daring President Buhari and his anti-
democratic agents to carry out this evil and
shameful plot and let us all see how far it will take
them.
“Anytime Governor Fayose wishes to travel out of
Nigeria, he will do so in the full glare of the public
and we await how he will be prevented from
exercising his rights as enshrined in the 1999
Constitution (as amended) as well as the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights and the African
Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights.
“We also wish to inform the President and his DSS
men that as they were disgraced when they invaded
Ekiti State House of Assembly, arresting members
of the House indiscriminately, they will be put to
shame this time too.
“Also, the National Assembly is being alerted of this
new threat to the Constitution of Nigeria by those
who swore to protect it. Members of the National
Assembly should by now begin to imagine what will
be their fate if attempt is now being made to place
travel restriction on State Governors.
“It is our considered view that President Buhari
should rather concern himself with the growing
insecurity in the country and charge the security
agencies, especially the DSS to perform their
functions as enshrined in the constitution instead
of running after petty issues.
“The President should focus his attention on the
economy of Nigeria that is almost collapsing and
stop using his position to oppress other Nigerians.
He should know that Nigerians are only interested
in having food on their tables, not the number of
people their President hounds into detention or
oppress with his powers.”

Forgive Us, We Were Saying Nonsense During The Campaign – President Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari says his party didn’t
know what they were getting into before making so
much promises to Nigerians, and as such made life
difficult for themselves with the high expectations
from Nigerians because of the long list of promises
made.
He said his party identified only three major
items…Security, Economy and Corruption.
Speaking on Monday when he hosted state house
correspondents at the presidential villa in Abuja,
Buhari said he and his cabinet members have been
doing their best to deliver the change which the All
Progressives Congress (APC) promised Nigerians
during the electioneering campaign.
The president described his ministers as
hardworking, saying they toil day and night to
ensure that his administration succeeds.
“One of the men I pity is Lai Mohammed.
Everyday he is on TV explaining our
performance or lack of it,” he said.
“The ministers sit down day and night to
work. Some of them have literarily lost
weight because they were sleeping less
and eating less (while working on the
budget). They were working on every kobo
to be spent.
“We recently just found out that we are
poor because we don’t have anything to
fall back to. This is the condition we found
ourselves and this change mantra had to
go through hell up till yesterday.
“And for you to talk to whoever came to
visit us throughout that year, I wonder
how each of your diaries would be,
because people were expecting this
change mantra in their own way.
“How do you define change? Luckily our
party identified three major items,
security, economy and corruption.”
The president spoke on why he reduced
the number of ministries from 42 to 24. He
also revealed that some of the permanent
secretaries were disengaged because of
lack of commitment.
Buhari added that there is a possibility of the
economy recovering in the last quarter of the year.
“When we came there were 42 ministries
we cut it to 24. We had to do it on our own
because we found out that government
could not continue with 42 ministers and
the paraphernalia of office so we cut it
down to 24,” he said.
“I underrated the influence of the PDP for
16 years watching from outside.
The experience of the staff, their
commitment and zeal is different from
what it is now compared to when I was in
government. Sixteen years of development
in the life of a developing nation is a long
time.
“Most of the permanent secretaries were
sent out because it was time for some of
them to go and for others for one thing or
the other. Because were not part of those
16 years this is where we found ourselves
and this is no joke.
“We had to cut down half the number of
permanent secretaries and then do some
cross postings.
The permanent secretaries that were there
for the past five, seven, 15 years the only
thing that they know is how things were
done in the previous years.
Whatever we did in the campaign, in
fact we were saying rubbish and that
made it very difficult for us.
“Things were even more difficult during
the budget which you all know about. For
somebody like me, for the first time I
heard what is called padding.
“I think we will recover by the fourth
quarter of the year, what padding means
especially for ministers who had
implement what padding contains.
There were very serious developments
which I never knew about.”

‘Pastor’ arrested with suspected fried human flesh

A ‘pastor’, identified as Adeniyi Johnson was
arrested on Wednesday evening at Ijomu area of
Akure, the Ondo State capital for being in possession of fried meat suspected to be human
parts. The suspect who claimed to be a pastor of a
Pentecostal church said he was posted to the branch of the church at Ipogun town in Ifedore Local Government Area of the state. According to an eyewitness, the pastor went to the busy Ijomu street and brought out pieces of fried meat from his bag and put them in a tray and started begging people to join him and eat from the meat. His bizzare action was said to have attracted spectators who suspected the meat to be human parts meant for ritual purposes. “The people in the area quickly gathered to lynch him because they also found some other fetish items inside his bag but security agents rescued
him and took him to the palace of the Akure monarch for interrogation,” an eyewitness said.
Some of the other fetish items allegedly found in
his bag were a feather and dead birds.

Facing the interrogation of the chiefs at the palace,
the suspect said he got involved in the ritual to save the life of his child, who had been ill for sometime, adding that his action was not aimed at harming the people who ate from the meat. He said, “I am a pastor of the Living Faith Church, I am not a bad person. I did this because my child is sick. I did not force anybody to eat the meat. “I have an instruction from God to prepare the meat for people, and nobody has eaten from it. If anybody refuses to eat of the meat, I have been instructed not to fight anybody about it.” Shortly after, he was handed over to the policemen who whisked him away to the Area Command headquarters in Akure for further interrogation. However, a pastor of the Winners Chapel, in the town, on condition of anonymity, said Johnson had been sacked as a pastor of the church when he started showing some signs of insanity, to enable his family to take care of him.
The Public Relations Officer of the Ondo Police
Command, Mr. Femi Joseph, was not available for
comment but a senior officer who did not want his
name in the print said some pastors from the church had visited the police station to attest that Johnson had a mental problem. He said the suspect would still be in the police custody till the time his family would present the medical record on his mental state.

TVC Presenter, Wale Fakile Explains His Side Of The Story

MY VERSION OF THE STORY
I have read all the tirades and accusations levied
against me by Mandy Isaac on Social Media and for
posterity and records purposes, I need to state my
side of the story. Yes, it is true that we are friends
but we stopped dating in June 2015. However, we
started talking again in December 2015. Our last date
was on Wednesday, May 16th, 2016 in my residence
and in spite of Mandy telling me that she had
stopped drinking, she requested for alcohol which I
did not oblige her. However, I later found out that
she had drank 2 cans of Vodka (picture below). I
went out to withdraw some money and she stepped
out too,When I returned, she got back and accused
me of talking to ladies and insisted she had to leave
that night. I pleaded with her but she said she would
leave and I gave her N2,000 as Transport fare. In her semi-nude state, she flared up, demanded for
N50,000 and called me unprintable names having
taking possession of my phone. Later, she went
berserk and started destroying things in my house
(See pictures below) before she started rolling
herself on the floor. I got a call the same night from a female police officer at Ketu Police Station (I was NEVER ARRESTED) who asked that I report at the station that night or the following morning. I could not go to the police station that night because it was already late (some minutes past 11:00pm) but I made sure that I got to the station as early as possible (8:00am). To my surprise she never showed up even after my call at the station. It is unfortunate that this happened to me but I am not only a responsible man but I also work in a responsible organisation that values and cherishes its publics. This is a deliberate attempt to frame me and I call on investigative Journalists to go deeper than the story and either vilify me or corroborate my claims.
