New Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has warned fans that his appointment does not mean the team have a quick fix to their problems.
The 69-year-old faces Watford in his first game back in charge on Saturday, after watching from the stands as Chelsea beat Sunderland 3-1 last week in the wake of Jose Mourinho’s departure.
Hiddink, who led the club to the FA Cup in his opening spell at the helm back in 2009, reflected on the club’s poor form prior to his arrival and stressed it would not be easy to turn the situation around.
He said: “If you look back a bit to last season where there was this huge success in winning the title then of course you go into the next season and you have your targets, your aims and your aims are the same.
“Getting the championship again, even though in the Premier League that is not easy, that was the main target. The other targets of course are to go into the Champions League and the FA Cup.
“But it is not easy to fix as sometimes after a championship you might relax a bit as a team and then you get a wake-up call from somewhere in September, but the situation is that they were down last week to one point off the relegation zone, which was frightening for everyone inside the club

Football: Chelsea Manager “Jose Mourinho” Has Been Sacked

Season Greetings From YUNG ZEELEE MD BLOG.

Chelsea have sacked manager Jose Mourinho seven months after he led them to the Premier League title.
The 52-year-old Portuguese had been in his second spell at the club, taking charge in June 2013.
Chelsea finished eight points clear last season and also won the League Cup, but have endured a terrible start to their defence, losing nine of their 16 league games so far.

Mourinho’s final match was Monday’s 2-1 defeat at leaders Leicester City.
Pep Guardiola, Guus Hiddink, Brendan Rodgers and Juande Ramos have all been touted as possible successors
He leaves with Chelsea just a point off the relegation zone and 20 points behind Leicester.
Champions League qualification via one of the top four spots in the Premier League looks almost impossible.
However, the Blues are through to the last 16 of European football’s biggest club competition, where they will face French champions Paris St-Germain in February and March.
Mourinho only signed a new four-year contract on 7 August and is Chelsea’s most successful manager.
He won three Premier League titles, two of those in his first spell between 2004 and 2007.
The Portuguese has also won the FA Cup, in 2007, and the League Cup three times – in 2005, 2007 and 2015.
It has not only gone wrong in the Premier League for Mourinho, he has also had his issues off the pitch.
A 2-2 draw with Swansea on 8 August was overshadowed by a fallout with his medical team, in particular club doctor Eva Carneiro.
Carneiro had her role downgraded after Mourinho said his medical staff were “naive” for running onto the pitch to treat attacking midfielder Eden Hazard.
She eventually left on 22 September and is now taking legal action against Mourinho and the Blues.
Mourinho also received a suspended stadium ban and £50,000 fine for claiming referees were “afraid” to award his team penalties in a 3-1 home loss to Southampton in October.
He subsequently had to serve a one-match stadium ban and pay a £40,000 fine for his behaviour during a 2-1 defeat by West Ham, when he spoke to referee Jon Moss at half-time.

Ronaldo Breaks Another Record In The UEFA Champions League!!!

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has become the first player to score 11 goals in the group stage of a Champions League campaign.
The Portugal international achieved the feat with his fourth goal of the night as his side thumped Malmo 8-0 on Tuesday, having already set a new record of 10 goals with his hat-trick at Santiago Bernabeu, besting his own feat twice in the same night.
Ronaldo was previously the joint holder of the record with nine, alongside Luiz Adriano, but now becomes the outright leader after top-scoring in the group stage for the fifth time – also a record that no other player can match.

In scoring the 50th-minute goal that took him over the record, Ronaldo followed up earlier strikes in the 37th and 47th minutes for an 11-minute blitz, the fastest hat-trick that any Madrid player has scored in Europe since 1968.

Nigeria Vs Senegal CAF U23 Championship Semi Final On 9th December 2015

Nigeria will face hosts Senegal in the semi-final of the U23 AFCON on Wednesday after they held Algeria to a goalless draw in Dakar.
The other semi-final will be between Group B winners Algeria and South Africa, who finished as runners-up in Group A.
Nigeria finished runners-up in Group B, while Algeria won the group by virtue of a better goals difference after both teams finished on five points each.
On Saturday, Mali edged past Egypt 1-0 in the other Group B match in Mbour to finish third with three points with the Young Pharaohs bottom on two points.
The top three teams from this competition will qualify automatically for the Rio Olympics next year with the fourth-placed team vying for a place in Brazil in a playoff.
In Dakar, the match between Algeria and Nigeria was always going to be a cagey affair after both teams also battled in a final group game at the inaugural tournament in Morocco four years ago with the West Africans winning 4-1.
In a half of very few openings, Nigeria had two chances to take the lead in Dakar – first an audacious 30-yard lob forced goalkeeper Abdelkader Sahli to tip it for a corner in the 13thminute and in the 34thminute Oghenekaro Etebo’s free kick was barely kept out by the Algeria shot stopper.
Algeria striker Zakaria Draoui threatened the Nigeria goal after 26 minutes, but goalkeeper Emmanuel Daniel came off his line to cut out the danger.
That was a minute after their effort was ruled offside by the referee.
In the second half, Etebo was denied by a big save by goalkeeper Salhi, who dived full length to push away a goal-bound effort by the near post.
Algeria also had their moments after the interval, but they did not have the cutting edge to get a goal in this contest.
The North Africans’ best chance in this period was in the 50th minute when Abderrahamane Meziani was denied inside the six-yard box only by the sprawling feet of the Nigeria goalkeeper.
Nigeria starting XI: Emmanuel Daniel – Ndifreke Effiong, Sincere Seth, Segun Oduduwa, Chizoba Amaefule – Azubuike Okechukwu (Skipper), Usman Mohammed, Oghenekaro Etebo, Godspower Aniefiok – Kufre Ebong, Junior Ajayi
Algeria starting XI – Abdelkadir Sahli – Ayoub Abdellaoui, Ryad Keniche (Skipper), Mohamed Benkhemassa, Zinedine Ferhat, Oussama Chita, Oussama Darfalou, Abderrahamane Meziane, Abdelraouf Benguit, Houari Ferhani, Zakaria Draoui

Suspected Nigerian Fans Banned From Senegal Stadium For Displaying Biafra Flags

Click Here For Free Airtime Now

According to Premium Times, Some Nigerian football fans were on Saturday expelled from a football stadium in Senegal for displaying Biafran flags.
The fans were expelled minutes after they displayed Biafran flags alongside Nigerian flags at a football match between Nigeria and Algeria at the U-23 African Cup of Nations holding in Dakar, the Senegalese capital.
There have been protests in South-East Nigeria by Igbos who demand for a separate Biafran country. Biafra was also the name adopted by the Eastern Nigeria during the civil war between 1967 and 1970, after which a ‘no victor, no vanquish’ was declared by the federal government after Biafra was defeated.
On Saturday, the Senegalese football association officials considered the display of the Biafran flags at the Leopold Sedar Senghor stadium “a militant act”.
As a result, the Vice President of the Senegalese Football Federation, FSF, Amadou Kane, who was in charge of the organisation, ordered security officials to respond by tearing down the Biafran flags and posters and expelling the supporters involved.
Senegalese FA officials said the group took advantage of the presence of the media at the stadium to raise the Biafran flag.
Dressed in T-shirts with the Biafra logo, eye witnesses said the group “invaded” the left wing of the covered pavilion to flaunt the Biafran flag alongside that of Nigeria. They later displayed a large flag calling for Biafran autonomy.
The match eventually ended 0-0 with Nigeria coming second in Group B with five points, behind Algeria.
Nigeria will face Senegal in the semi-final next week while Algeria will battle South Africa.

FIFA Ranking: Nigeria Drops To 66th

Nigeria’s senior national team has dropped seven places to 66th in the latest Fifa world ranking released on Thursday morning.
The Super Eagles gathered a total of 541 points to fall to no. 14 in Africa behind Cote d’Ivoire, Algeria, Ghana, Cape Verde, Tunisia, Senegal, Congo, Guinea, Egypt, Cameroon, Congo DR, Mali and Uganda.
Côte d’Ivoire are ranked first in Africa with 950 points while the Fennecs of Algeria end 2015 as runners-up after gathering 845 points. Ghana are third on the log with 778 points.
Belgium claim the team of the year award for 2015. The Red Devils jumped into first position (their first-ever) on the Fifa /Coca-Cola World Ranking in the November ranking, but a 3-1 victory over four-time world champion Italy in Brussels on 13 November saw them hold on to the coveted position for the final ranking of 2015.
Turkey receive the award for best mover of the year thanks to the 329 points they collected over the last 12 months of football. Having last competed at a major tournament back in 2008, Turkey secured a place at the Uefa Euro 2016 in a campaign that saw them defeat Netherlands
The highest climbers of 2013, thanks to nine wins, two draws and only one defeat, are Ukraine, who have collected no fewer than 312 points since December 2012, moving up 29 places to 18th and gaining the title of Mover of the Year for the first time.
In contrast, Portugal dropped three places into 7th having lost 145 points – the most points lost by a team.
Of the 137 matches taken into account for the latest ranking more than two thirds (92 games) were World Cup qualifiers; eight of the 137 games were playoff matches to determine the final four teams to qualify for EURO 2016, and the remaining 37 matches were international friendlies.
What is your take on this tragic development?
